Walking for Health Information & Registration

Walking for Health is a fun and easy way to kick start your health by getting you off that couch and get you moving.  It is completely free and there is no obligation.  It is time to RECLAIM your life, your health and YOU…so let’s get moving!

While the weather is questionable (beginning in October-April) we will walk at Greece Ridge Mall every Thursday starting 1/5/12.

When the weather is somewhat predictable (May-September) we will walk every Thursday outside – route to be determined based on availability and interest.

REQUIRED:

  1. GOOD WALKING SHOES.  Please make sure for YOUR safety that you take care of yourself by wearing good walking shoes…no open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops, crocs, etc.
  2. WATER.  It is a great way to stay hydrated and motivated to continue with the walk.  No need for stops at Burger King!
  3. REGISTRATION.  You MUST register for the walking program in order to participate.  Please do so HERE.   It will save us both time on the nights we walk.

    Please register to enroll in the Walking for Health Program. This is not a certified fitness program...this is a get up and move program. If this fits your wellness goals and you would like join me every other Tuesday in walking at least 1.5 miles then I welcome you!
