Isn’t it absolutely insane how fast summer went?  I kept telling myself, I will get to my desk this week…I will do it later today…I will work at my desk before I go to bed.  Guess what?  It never happened…as you may have been able to tell.  It is not that I wasn’t thinking of you…I just was…well…summer crazed.  There is something about a getting back into the fall routine that always makes me happy.  It gives me an opportunity to get the things done I had wanted to all summer and to be able to take some time for just me.  It is your time now as well.  Take the opportunity and schedule a massage for yourself.  That hour will rejuvenate your body, mind and soul.  Don’t you think you deserve it? I look forward to seeing you.

There were countless of amazing tributes over the weekend to commemorate, remember and honor those that had given their lives 10 years ago during the 9/11 tragedy.  I was honored to be part of such an amazing and strong country.  Even my local grocery store had a moment of silence at 1pm that I was able to take a part of.

It always amazes me after such significant and painful losses that life really does continue.  It feels as if sometimes the entire world should all stop even for a minute or two to reflect and pause and recognize the significance of such a tragedy. But…it doesn’t.  The world still slowly rotates and hustle and bustle of a new day still arrives each morning.  Even the shoppers return to their grocery shopping.   This reality is startling and comforting at the same time.   Life does continue and we are there for the moment to partake in it.

As we begin this day let us find hope in the little things that come our way; Let us remember and recognize all of the people that we have lost over the years and their significance in our lives; Let us accept today as a challenge to live up and live on.
