What is the secret to getting the best massage ever??
Communication! Massage is a unique and personal experience. There are no two massages that are alike! It is important for both of us if you are open and honest with me about your needs and expectations for each massage session we have together. Everything is adjustable and adaptable from the face cradle to the music.
Your session is all about you. Music, table temperature, lighting, pressure, technique- it’s all adaptable and adjustable. Your needs during one massage may differ from the next, so please feel free to share those changes with me. Your feedback is valuable to both of us and will make your massage the best ever!

This is a blog I read this morning on Zen Habits about how busy we all are. It rang so true and so loud that I had to share! Please read on and share any comments you may have. I would also love to hear how you are creating some “non-busy” time for yourself.
“Doing nothing is better than being busy doing nothing.” ~Lao Tzu
Stop being busy and your job is half done.
Think about how busy we are, and how it has become a way of bragging: I’m so busy, I must be important.
“I have a million things to do! I never have time for anything! I can’t slow down — I’m too busy.” This is thought to be a good thing in a society where we must be productive, active, occupied.
But it’s a fool’s game. Busy is simply noise, action without meaning, lots of little unimportant things rather than a few important ones.
Stop being busy. Just decide to stop, today.
Now you’re halfway done. You’ve decided to slow down, and to focus on what’s important. All of a sudden, your schedule clears up, and your to-to list shrinks down to almost nothing.
Now you just have one or two things to do, instead of a million. You clear distractions, and focus.
But how can you stop being busy? It’s a simple change of mindset: you say, I’m not going to be busy anymore. Even if you have little control over your schedule, you can decide that you’ll slow down, and pick the important things to work on, and if necessary, talk to your boss about doing this. If you control your schedule, you can drop all the busywork, and just pick the high-impact tasks.
It might seem impossible, but once you decide to put an End to Busy, you have taken the biggest step.
You can now make time for work you’re passionate about, for work that matters. You can make time for solitude, for creating. You can make time for contemplation, for yourself.
Stop being busy, and your job is half done.
“Life seems but a quick succession of busy nothings.” ~Jane Austen

2010 … a New Decade…a New You!
….Re-imagine, Rejuvenate, Recharge, Re-invent
~ Rededicate yourself to your health and wellness
All the big influential contributors seem to be on the same wagon with a “New Decade…New You!” While I don’t want to appear to be a follower…they pretty much summed it up for me. So why reinvent the wheel? I can offer you however my take on the new decade and it’s potential. I personally feel refreshed and renewed…even with a crazy and complicated life that I am currently immersed in. Every year at the end of the holidays I have, like most humans I would imagine, a sense of renewal but it generally doesn’t last past the 3rd or 4th of January. Then, as every other year, the old habits wake up and walk back into my routine. I purposely waited this year to post this message in anticipation of just that…but again…it is the 7th of January and I still feel refreshed and renewed. So live on the edge and take a look at my calls for action for the new year and the new decade. You DO have the power to change your circumstances and improve your overall well being. You DO have the opportunity to feel refreshed and renewed and if you choose to engage in these 10 steps then you choose to rededicate yourself to your health and wellness.
I wish you and your family an abundance of health, peace and joy in 2010.
10 Steps to take in 2010 towards a new you.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here is to a healthy, productive and prosperous year!
