October 1st is my one year anniversary of being in business and I couldn’t be more excited to offer in celebration of this accomplishment a treat for all of my clients, old and new. I would love for you to be the first to sample my latest addition to my therapeutic services: Soothing Heat Therapy.

This new service incorporates all of the benefits of my standard massage enhanced with a soothing and relaxing heated hydrotherapy element.

Moist Heat Therapy causes the blood vessels to dilate. Applying this style of heat to the body brings fresh and nutritious blood to the area that is being treated, nourishing and cleansing the area.

In order to experience the optimal level of this beneficial massage, more time will now be allocated. A 30 minute massage will now be 45 minutes in length and priced at $45. A normal 60 minute massage will now be 75 minutes in length and priced at $75.

Exclusively for the month of October, the Soothing Heat Therapy Massage will be at a discounted price of $30 for a 30 minute massage and $60 for a 60 minute massage. That is a 20% savings that is exclusive to YOU. To ensure your discount please book and keep your appointment in October. Come try it out. I look forward to seeing you and getting your feedback on this new addition to my services.

Constant Cravings

First let me apologize for not blogging more often. I am VERY new to this whole blog thing (much to my husband’s dismay) so I sometimes forget that to let you know how I am progressing. I am having some craving issues…love the chocolate…but should work through them soon. I love the fresh apples of the season and the variety of them are keeping my interest. I have been doing interval training; a cross between walking and running which seems to be working out for me. Although I find myself extraordinarily hungry! I am starting to crave protein…I NEVER thought I would say that ever. More later…hopefully I will remember before 9 days from now! See you soon.

Today

Today is another chance to make things better. What will you do to do your part?

This is amazing!

While sitting where you are raise your right foot off the floor and turn it in clockwise circles. While doing this take your right hand and draw a number 6 in the air. Does your foot change directions? Your brain is programmed to make the switch without even thinking about it. Is that brilliant? Let me know how you make out with this experiment. I couldn’t stop my foot from switching!

5K Race Training!

Today is my first day of “training” for a 5K that is coming up at my church. I am nervous, excited, scared and worried all in one. I ate very healthy foods today in hopes that would give me adequate fuel for my first run this afternoon. I had meant to go in the morning…but with children getting ready for school and what not…well I am sure you know how that goes or can at least take a guess. I am coming off of a week long cleanse that I did at the Greece office along with Dr. Kris, his wife and several of his patients. I feel great and have hopefully created a fresh start for my body. That is why the sudden interest in running and a 5K race. Training for a 5K I believe is attainable and something that just might get me to where I want to be physically and that is healthy. I don’t care anymore about a certain number. I DO care about feeling healthy and alive. Here’s hoping! I will let you know how the first run went.
